Watercolour painting of a local scene depicting a familiar subject in a fresh and exciting way. I was interested in representing the light on the buildings using bold colour and subtle shadows to evoke the strong sunlight.

About Michael Robson (GB)
Michael is a professional landscape painter working in Fife, Scotland. His work is founded on the practice of painting outdoors in the impressionist manner, recording directly the effects of light he observes around him.
