Mackenzie Moulton, born 21st June 1947, in Exeter, Devon, UK, has been painting seriously for over 56 years.
In 1996 he became fully professional when he emigrated to Spain and made a name for himself with the international community, selling paintings to German, Dutch, Swiss French, English, Spanish and many others. In 2006, he returned to the UK, and was commissioned to paint Lady Cynthia Stevens, who replaced the late Queen Mother, as patron of the Thames Police Museum in London. He now lives in Brixham, Devon UK

When I lived in Crediton, Devon. There was a park called Shobrooke Park. A tree was struck by Lightning and everybody thought it was dead. Then one day it started Sprouging leaves. I just had to paint it. Oil on canva

DescriptionThis park is just 10 minutes walk from my home in Crediton and a lovely place for painting.
SHOBROOKE lies in quiet, unspoilt country, with many fertile "red-land" farms. It formerly had several prosperous gentry and yeoman.

The Holy Cross Church in Crediton, is linked to St Boniface, who was born there. Most painting are front view, but I preferred the back view. It's oil on board, not canvas as stated, and framed.
