A contemporary landscape artist, incentivised and inspired, mainly from living in the Gloucestershire countryside, with an appreciation of woodland landscapes (some might say, obsession) and the interest they create when given the magical addition of light and shade.

Nice Place for a Picnic
Painting derived from the study of trees in the Forest of Dean where I live with a certain amount of imagination involved.

Dusk on the Great Ouse
A painting of a view of the Great Ouse near St Ives in Cambridgeshire, on one of my visits to Cambridge, where I used to exhibit some of my work at Byard Art.
Down by the River
Painted in May 2022. I endeavour to paint places the viewer would hopefully like to be.
