Bankside

The River Thames of my childhood when it was a busy working river is a constant inspiration for my work.

The Upper Pool of London looking towards Tower Bridge.
I stood on this spot many many years ago and painted this from my memories.

One of my first paintings of ships on the Thames.

I have always been fascinated by the last tufts of snow that remain in small areas sheltered from the Sun. Even on a warm day they are a reminder of the passing of Winter.

The painting speaks for its self.
I use Claessens 66 Medium Linen 460gsm. Can someone tell me what the code number in the product box relate to?

Just beyond the London Bridge can be seen the smoking chimney of Bankside Power Station. Now of course the 'Tate Modern'.
