Na een workshop abstract schilderen de smaak te pakken gekregen en gemerkt hoe bevrijdend en ontspannend schilderen is. Intuïtief schilderen met kleuren die een/mijn verhaal vertellen, geïnspireerd door de natuur. No rules, no perfection, just free creativity and painting what feels good.

The Beginning
My first painting ever, using acrylics and a mixed texture base. Painted this with my fingers. Not for sale, I want to keep this one for myself. It represents the beginning of painting as my creative outlet.
Floating Blues
Floating Blues is one of my personal favourites because of the interesting effect of the acrylics on the textured base.
Sunset
Sunset gives me summer vibes, golden hour, warmth, happy thoughts. Acrylics on canvas with textured base.
Floating Greens
Shades of green flowing, fading into each other. Like a river of green. Fresh and natural vibe. Acrylics on canvas with textured base.
Extraterrestrial
Up in space, extraterrestrial, other galaxy, nebula as inspiration for this mystical painting. Acrylics on canvas with textured base.
Otherworldy
Acrylics on mdf with base of gesso and textures. I like the ‘otherworldly’ vibe, surface of another planet.
Burned
Burned has an interesting textured base which guides the main colours brown and red over the canvas.
Spring
Abstract acrylic painting with textured base in the vivid colours of spring.
Twisted
Abstract textured painting with twisted elements in center.
Happymotions
Happiness expressed in colour on a textured canvas. Explosion of dopamine, seratonin,…
Grounded
'Grounded' is een abstract werk van 80x100 sterk geïnspireerd door de natuur en hoe wortels een boom stevig kunnen verankeren in de grond. Veel textuur in de basislagen die ik extra in de verf heb gezet.
