Originally trained as a sculptor (Gerrit Rietveld Academie, Amsterdam) I have been a painter since the early eighties. My subjects are the classic ones, landscape, interior, portrait, etc. I always work after nature. Looking with a sculptor’s eye gives my work its plasticity.
