Bebop 10 transforms the intensity of a trombone solo into an explosion of colour, rhythm and movement. The musician and his instrument dominate the composition, pushed close to the viewer as if the sound itself were breaking through the picture plane.

Gerardus Cornielje Baron von Sachsen is a Dutch-born, Germany-based visual artist, poet and jazz musician whose work is shaped by a life lived across more than sixty countries. His vibrant mixed-media works transform memory, music and the rhythm of the city into expressive compositions of colour, movement and imagination. Created in dialogue between digital drawing and hand-worked materials, each piece invites collectors into a world where poetry, improvisation and visual art meet.
